Lorena Pascarella                                                                                                                                    TESOL Instructor

A 2023 TESOL graduate, Lorena is an experienced ESL teacher and special needs educator. She holds a Bachelor’s degree in Human Relations with a minor in Business Administration from Concordia University, along with additional qualifications in TEFL, Special Care Counselling, and Accounting. Lorena is a new TESOL Instructor at Central Overseas Education Services and is excited to begin this next chapter in her professional journey.

Lorena brings over seven years of teaching experience, including work with several remote tutoring companies delivering ESL and FSL instruction. She has taught learners of all ages and proficiency levels, working with both native and non-native English speakers in diverse learning environments.

Presently, Lorena is working as a special education technician for the Sir Wilfred Laurier School Board during the day. In the evenings, Lorena takes up part time contracts at École de Langues Shakespeare to teach Business English and French to adults within the corporate world.

In the summer of 2019, Lorena taught English as a Second Language to children at an Italian language camp. This eye-opening and rewarding experience contributed to her personal and professional growth. You can watch Lorena’s Italy teaching testimonial on our Experiences page.

Lorena values the individuality of each learner and adjusts her instruction to meet diverse needs and learning styles. She adapts curriculum thoughtfully while incorporating her musical and artistic background to enhance engagement across age groups.
